6-SESSION YOGA and POSITIVE THINKING COURSE

Study of practical Yogic approaches for developing a positive outlook, positive habits and inner peace. Learn the art of changing negative thoughts and habits into positive ones and turning challenges into opportunities, as well as concentration and meditation techniques for creating mental and emotional equilibrium and finding inner peace. 

Each session includes one hour of yoga and meditation and one hour discussion

Mondays 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, starting May 18.

Sliding scale: $80 - $110/ course.
(Recommended textbook - "Thought Power" by Swami Sivananda - additional $9)

 

 

6-SESSION MEDITATION COURSE

Theory and practice of concentration and meditation techniques for creating mental and emotional equilibrium and developing inner peace. A thorough introduction for beginners, an aid for refining experienced students’ practice.

Thursdays 7:45 - 9 PM, starting April 24.

Sliding scale: $70 - $95/ course.
(Required textbook - "Meditation and Mantras" by Swami Vishnu-devananda - additional $12)

 

 

 

 

SATSANG - MEDITATION and KIRTAN

Silent sitting meditation, Kirtan (devotional chanting), and discussions about various aspects of Vedanta and Yoga philosophy.

Evenings
Wednesdays 7:45 - 9:00 PM
Lectures and discussions on various spiritual and self-help topics.

Mornings
Saturdays at 7:30 AM
Study of the Upanishads, ancient scriptures which illustrate the subtle aspects of Advaita Vedanta or non-dual monism, according to which in essence we are all unconditioned, eternally free spirit.
